The BCS creates drama. It does.
The BCS does what the writers, newspaper, ad and Ad-men want. The BCS creates drama.
How many times do you get a weekly match up of #6 vs #7? This is "engineered" by writers. The BCS provides an appearance of meaning where no real meaning can be found.
Frankly, I'm not sure this is bad. Games that would have only region importance, LSU-Alabama, have national interest because of the BCS. Consider last weeks Stanford vs USC Game. If we had a playoff system, this game would have little interest to anyone other than the San Fransisco Bay Area, LA and a few tv sets on college campus.
The BCS sure has made things interesting.

"Some people are born on third base and go through life thinking they hit a triple."

Perspective; it not about where you come from, its about where you go.
Or, taken from the perspective that a person born to privilege, social station or 3rd base assuming the role afforded by that privilege has accomplished little worth note. They are no more worthy recognition then those who make no effort to achieve.
